Update Failure Unraid not working

Featured Replies

I just tried to update to the latest v6 (previous version was from a few months ago).

I got a warning: copy (/boot/config/plugins/unraidserver.plg): failed to open stream ... (shown in Update1 attached)

When I rebooted, I am stuck as showin in Update2 attached.

I need help getting back on line.

Thanks, Richard.

Download the 6.1.3 version manually:  http://dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer-6.1.3-x86_64.zip

Pull the flash drive from the server and put it into your desktop.  (If Windows tells you that it needs to fix errors on the flash, let it do it)

Copy the files BZIMAGE and BZROOT from the zip file onto the flash drive

Look on your flash drive in the config/plugins folder.  If unraidserver.plg exists, delete it.

Try booting the server again with the flash drive.

Squid:

You're awesome. Thanks for taking the time to save me a bunch of time. Worked perfectly and I have now stored this in my permanent notes.

BTW, Squid is a term in the motorcycle world for riders who are essentially hooligans. In case that bit on knowledge could ever be useful to you.

Cheers, Richard

That knowledge is new to me, but matches the avatar perfectly
