October 4, 201510 yr Hi all. I just installed one of those new samsung 8tb disk in my system. I am currently using the preclear plugin. It has been running fine for about 24 hours, but now my system in unresponsive. I really hate to reboot the server and start the preclear over again. Is there any other option? Thank You. ps-By unresposive, I mean that I can't access the webgui nor can I access any shares from any of my pcs. Everything just times out.
October 4, 201510 yr Community Expert How much memory do you have? From console or telnet, type diagnostics ignore any errors. Then you will probably have to powerdown find the diagnostics zip file on your flash, and post it.
October 4, 201510 yr Author Thank you. I have 4GB of memory. I got anxious and rebooted my server before seeing this reply. I have preclear running currently. I will run diagnostics and post if this happens again.
