October 9, 201510 yr I've been using Unraid for EVER.. still running ver 4.7. My old hardware is starting to show its age and I'm looking to build a new server based around the Supermicro A1SA7-2750F motherboard. It just for home use, so limited IO and just started looking at maybe running owncloud or something similar on the server too. Comments? http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Atom/X10/A1SA7-2750F.cfm
October 9, 201510 yr You probably want to check to see if the NIC's (or Network Controllers) are supported. (There is one PCI-E slot, so you could use an Intel based NIC card if necessary.) PS ---- You do realize that the form factor of the MB is 'PROPRIETARY'!
October 14, 201510 yr Wouldn't it make more sense to get a mini-ITX with an atom and a really good SAS card? Something like this would get you your 16 drives: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816103253
