Running an exe

Featured Replies

Im rather new to Unraid so im going to ask what may seem like a silly question.

I have a program that currently is available for windows only. I would really love to be able to run this program on unraid as my personal opinion is its the best media organizer around.

Is it possible? And if yes, How?

Cheers

The only was to run a Windows exe is on a Windows operating system. The only way to do with unRAID is to install a Windows virtual machine and use the program that way.

EDIT: Well you could also use a docker with "wine" (a Windows emulator for Linux) but you will have various degrees of luck with that.

Short and sweet, cheers.

Will have to look into running a VM.

Shame, because media center master is the program im referring to.
