October 13, 201510 yr unRAID OS Version: 6.1.3 Description: For the past week or so, every time I shut down my VM (that is, issue a shut down or restart command from inside the Windows 7 VM - such as for system updates) when Windows shuts down it takes down the entire unRAID server. WebGUI becomes unresponsive, SSH unreachable, shares cut off, etc. The only way to get the system back is to restart the server. How to reproduce: Issue shut down or restart command inside Windows 7 VM Expected results: Total system crash Actual results: Other information: Attached syslog and VM XML xeon-syslog-20151012-1910.zip win7VM-XML.doc
October 13, 201510 yr My guess is that it's the video card you're trying to use with the VM. There are some vid cards that do not reset correctly when shutdown with a VM. If you remove the video card from your VM and just pass it the USB controller that you're doing today, does everything work as expected?
