psu2k5
Any help would be appreciated! Bought the X10SL7-F + E3-1231V3 like so many other people have. Problem now is that my transfer speeds both within the array and from the cache drive to the array are INSANELY slow and by insanely slow I mean the best I've seen is 2MB/sec. My previous HW was an old Intel motherboard with an E8400 Dual Core Duo and would do the same data transfers at 100MB/sec plus. I saw no change after flashing the internal controller firmware to the recommend IT version. Look for any assistance the community can give/offer. Unraid version: 5 Pro Link to comment
c3
Need to know the rest of the parts, drives, where connected, controllers, etc. Link to comment
psu2k5
No other controllers just the onboard SATA ports, all WD drives (except the cache) as shown below. Using the same drives and cables I had before the MOBO, CPU and Memory swap: parity WDC_WD30EZRX-00MMMB0_WD-WCAWZ2369805 (sdb) 2930266532 * 3 TB - 1138343 1049456 0 disk1 Browse /mnt/disk1 WDC_WD30EZRS-55J99B0_WD-WCAWZ0769998 (sdc) 2930266532 * 3 TB 187.03 GB 52992 484 0 disk2 Browse /mnt/disk2 WDC_WD30EZRX-00MMMB0_WD-WCAWZ2598988 (sdd) 2930266532 * 3 TB 188.04 GB 221521 67424 0 disk3 Browse /mnt/disk3 WDC_WD30EFRX-68EUZN0_WD-WMC4N0J690SY (sde) 2930266532 * 3 TB 186.53 GB 234405 97054 0 disk4 Browse /mnt/disk4 WDC_WD30EZRX-00MMMB0_WD-WCAWZ2983767 (sdf) 2930266532 * 3 TB 218.51 GB 1053239 844376 0 disk5 Browse /mnt/disk5 WDC_WD30EZRX-00DC0B0_WD-WMC1T1518376 (sdg) 2930266532 * 3 TB 197.21 GB 94956 17 0 disk6 Browse /mnt/disk6 WDC_WD30EFRX-68EUZN0_WD-WMC4N0531241 (sdh) 2930266532 * 3 TB 268.59 GB 114958 105 0 disk7 Browse /mnt/disk7 WDC_WD30EFRX-68EUZN0_WD-WMC4N0919853 (sdi) 2930266532 * 3 TB 355.15 GB 192796 48488 0 disk8 Browse /mnt/disk8 WDC_WD30EFRX-68EUZN0_WD-WMC4N0334079 (sdj) 2930266532 * 3 TB 318 GB 47443 17 0 cache Browse /mnt/cache ST3500630AS_6QG2WXWN (sdk) 488386552 Link to comment
spylex
Im now having the same problem, out of the blue. 30mb/s is the top speed i get during parity check and server struggles to do anything else during that... Link to comment
garycase
Barring a defective board/CPU (seems unlikely), this is likely either cables or power. Is this an issue with both reads and writes? ... or just writes? What power supply do you have? Link to comment
RobJ
Without the diagnostics, we can only speculate. Tools -> Diagnostics Link to comment
spylex
It's odd. Admittedly i have one drive with failing SMART, which i need to replace... but these Seagate Desktop drives were a bust. Warranty is too short... I also have a dubious PSU... I need to give my server an update. Attached are some things, but still not sure if they will help.
