Directories on cache, don't want them to be moved?

Featured Replies

So I have a few "temp" directories on the main cache drive that I use for storing stuff I don't need protected.  I thought that anything here would just stay unless it had a user share somewhere but last night the mover moved everything from the cache to the other disks. Did I so something wrong, is there a way to have a directory on the cache drive and not have it moved?

place a period in front of the name of the directory and it will stay located on the cache drive.

Any other way?  I would prefer it to be visible via the terminal(without arguments) by default.

not right now, that I can remember.  There is a thread somewhere in the forum were I mentioned something about modifying the mover script so that it ignores "." and "_" at the front of the folder name or file name.  Not sure where it is but doing some searching might reveal it.

EDIT:  A little searching quick has revealed the post talking about it here
