The command failed.

looks like an unraid specific error off the top of my head.

check docker is enabled or that you have sufficient space left on your docker.img.

Hey Guys, need a little help here,

Every time I start the docker container I see in the logs it first does a full apt-get update, this is taking over 10mins to complete and results in the sickrage ui being unavailable till it's complete. How can I stop the container from doing this ?

Thanks in advance

What is the correct procedure for updating the Sickrage docker? I sometimes get an error where it doesn't know which branch it is using (in general settings then the advanced tab). If I stop the docker and then restart it sometimes it fixes this sometimes it doesn't.

Can this docker be updated from within the program or should a stop and restart do it?

Thanks again for all you hard work,

Peter

This most update to sickrage seems to break sickrage docker - I have completely removed image and container several times, restarted docker and server, stop and started, but none of them get passed:

I just pulled it and it booted right up with the same log entries...

How did you update? Did you do it via the Sickrage webui? If so that may break things, all updates are automatic if you restart the container..

Try pulling it again but allocate a different appdata folder eg /mnt/cache/appdata/sickrage2/ If that works I'd try and migrate files to the new appdata folder personally...

Testing out this container, I'm trying to move away from my desktop pc and just use my unraid server. BUT is it possible to pull a specific release/commit from the SR repo? I've installed git and tried using git commands but I just made a mess my in SR container dir so I'm going to start over.. lol.  According to the git commands I've successfully changed to the commit I want, but when I start SR I just get the latest. So that didn't work, or at least I wasn't able to get it to work with my limited git knowledge. But I'm guessing git won't work with docker containers anyway..(?) If you can't tell this is my first time trying docker.. Easy enough to set up but if I'm not able to pull the commit I want I'll just install SR in a VM.

You're onto a non-starter, this container will pull the latest version at restart so any changes you make will be lost.

Editing a container in the way you're describing isn't recommended for containers.  Far better to spin up your own container and then push it to docker hub.

I disabled auto update so it won't pull the latest at restart, but didn't work anyway. But yeah, I'll check out how to create my own container, can you point me in the right direction if there by any chance is a guide or something? :) I'm sure I've seen a guide here someplace, one time, but now I can't remember..

Hello. I'm using sickrage with Deluge and am trying to set up hard links in the post processing so that I can continue seeding. I read on the forums that for hard links to work in unraid I need to reference the folders using disk shares. I have therefore set up the docker like this:

2w6dy0n.jpg

But I'm still getting an error in the sickrage logs that hard links could not be created:

xmu6uc.jpg

What am I missing?

I migrated to this from Sickbeard a week ago and has been working great. However, I just tried to add a new show and I am getting "Missing params, no Indexer ID or folder:'theTVDB|1...." error when I click add show on the last step. Does anyone else having this issue? Thanks for this great docker.

Just an update on what I found. It seems that this is a known issue with Docker. Different volumes mounted will seem to have different file systems even if the underlying filesystem is actually the same.

https://github.com/docker/docker/issues/7457

I dealt with this by mounting a single volume mapped to disk1 and then sickbeard is able to create hardlinks between all files in disk1. Inelegant, but it works.
