Hi.

 

I upgraded finally to v6 from 4.7.  I did a clean install.  Backed up my USB.  Removed USB from server. made another back up.

 

Did a format of usb, copied new files from zip file.  I then imported my config file, ident file, share config file and Share Folders. which contained 3 files Media, Music, Pictures.

 

It loaded up fine.  ran parity check.  and the NEW PERMISSIONS TOOL.

 

I can access my pictures.  When I try to access the music or media it says they not available.

 

I even try to access the FLASH folder on the  //tower and it is giving the same error now?  I can still look in the pictures folder.

Any ideas ?

I can access the files if I open the individual disk.... but not in the share folder as a whole...if you understand what I am saying

 

 

Try deleting your credentials for UnRaid..

When I went from 4.7 to 5, the first version where permissions changed, I had major issues until I deleted my Keychains (Mac version of credentials) for Unraid.

Thanks I looked in there under Web Credentials and Windows credentials and I do not see anything for Unraid.   

 

 

Okay... you are on to something.

 

I tried my  Windows 7 HTPC and It all work  flawless.

 

My windows 10 PC has the issue of accessing those folders. 

Okay its fixed~~~!!!! i added a credential and its working.  Not sure if that step is in the Wiki.... and if it is only an issue with windows 10?
