dave Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Hey guys, I originally posted this in the MakeMKV thread cuz it happened on that Docker but I think it's more generic than what Docker I'm running... I think I borked my container. I had originally set up the output folder to be on my array. I wanted to change this to be the cache drive instead so I went in to edit the container and changed the folder location. Clicked done and got an error about EOF. Now my docker doesn't appear in the list at all! Anyone know where I went wrong??? Thanks for any help! Dave
dave Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Oh, also, I should add that if I enable "Advanced" view that two Dockers show as orphaned. But when I try to delete them I get errors.
saarg Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 You are not able to add the container again? Could you post diagnostics? Go to tools, then click diagnostics and post it. If you do not have Community application installed, try installing it and add the container again.

I do have the Community Application installed and have tried installing via that as well with no luck. dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 It looks like an issue with dockerHub. Try doing it again in a bit and see if it fixes itself I don't think that's the case as I've tried this a couple times over the last couple days with no change.
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Could you post a screenshot of the docker page with advanced enabled so I can see all the images? From the error message unraud tries to map /mnt/user/Other/Q still, and not a cache share. You should also consider changing the config mapping to a folder only for makemkv as I see you just mapped appdata/config and I guess you have more than this docker installed?

Also, for the output of the last time I used the template which was saved - no changes. You are correct on both folder locations which is what prompted me to make the change in the beginning and caused the problem I am currently experiencing.
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Do you still get an error message if you try to delete the orphan makemkv image? Could you post the error message?
dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 I get this error message: Command: root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker rmi 9fcc556701fc Error response from daemon: No such image: 9fcc556701fc Error: failed to remove images: [9fcc556701fc] The command failed.
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 And if you try to remove the other orphaned image?
dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 And if you try to remove the other orphaned image? Same error but with a different image ID.
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Could you post the output of this command when connected to unraid through ssh: docker images

saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Hmm.. I got no clue why you can't delete the images What is the output of this command: docker ps -a

Is there a way to stop/restart the Docker engine? I can always reboot the entire machine to try and get back to a clean slate.
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I think restarting the ocker deamon might help. Go to Settings --> docker and disable, then apply. Then enable and apply again. Hopefully iy might work to delete the orphaned images.

trurl Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Maybe your docker image is corrupt due to running out of space.
dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Maybe your docker image is corrupt due to running out of space. You made me do the math... My docker.img is 10GB. The dockers I have are: 2.114GB, 1.15 GB, 2.132 GB, 1.024 GB, 541.5 MB, 603.9 MB 2114+1150+2132+1024+541.5+603.9 = 7565.4 Should have ~2.5 GB of free space in there still.
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It might be time to restart your server also. You could also try disabling docker and then delete the docker image, enable docker again and recreate your containers by adding the my-templates from the list. Then all your mappings will survive
dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 It might be time to restart your server also. You could also try disabling docker and then delete the docker image, enable docker again and recreate your containers by adding the my-templates from the list. Then all your mappings will survive I'll try the reboot first! I'm not opposed to re-creating the Dockers as I don't have very many or complex setups.
dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Ok, rebooted, no changes. Can't even get Docker to run. How should I proceed now? Delete docker.img from /cache ? Or is there more to it than that...
saarg Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 That is correct. Just delete the docker.img and start docker again.
dave Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 That is correct. Just delete the docker.img and start docker again. I also deleted the /appdata folder too just in case. The command finished successfully! MakeMKV Docker is up and running! Thanks everyone for your help, this was really bizarre and hopefully doesn't happen again.
