October 19, 201510 yr Just out of curiosity, since my parity check my unRaid USB has 7 of these file 0 through 6 in the root and I believe they are .rec files. Can they be deleted, I've never (to my recollection) seen them in any of my other builds. ~ Dave

What is in them?
October 19, 201510 yr Author They're showing up as .rec files, I tried to open and they throw them at VLC player and nothing comes up. They got a date of 1979?

November 20, 201510 yr Also have these files and would like to know what they are. On your flash drive? They would be the result of the filesystem check trying to recover something from corrupted files.
