impmonkey
A good overview of virtualization. Hmm video isn't loading for me on here. Can view here: https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=LuJYMCbIbPk Remove Spaces Quote Link to comment
johnodon
That's some pretty good press. Quote Link to comment
dirtysanchez
Awesome. Nice to see unRAID getting the press it deserves, even if the NAS functionality was completely glossed over. Quote Link to comment
WeeboTech
That was a great video!!! Great job Limetech, you made it happen! Quote Link to comment
jonp
Thanks guys! We actually posted on the blog about this as well. Hoping to work with Linus on other projects in the future. This one was really focused on getting two gaming rigs running at the same time, and not really focused on unRAID as an OS and what it can do. Just goes to show how much potential this thing brings to the table. Quote Link to comment
Ice_Black
Linus should put "unRAID" in the title. Quote Link to comment
vanlooverenkoen
I want to do this to but I am running this: Cpu: Intel i7 6700K Mobo: MSI Z170 M9 ACK Ssd: 2x Samsung 850evo 500GB Psu: Corsair RM 650 RAM: Kingston Hyperx 32gb DDR4 2666MHZ 15cl Gpu: 2x MSI GTX 970 4GB Case: Corsair 780T Black Is it possible to do the gaming virtualisation to create 2 Gaming rigs with my I7 6700K? Can he handle that? Quote Link to comment

vanlooverenkoen
Oke then we have to test this project out I gues? but if I want to use the trial version of unRAID I can only use 3 atached devices, what does it mean? GPU is 1 GPU is 2 Mouse is 3 Or is it like this: Mouse is 1 keyboard is 2 webcam is 3 Quote Link to comment

itimpi
so I can plug in 2 hdd's and: 2 keyboard's 2 mice 2 gpu's 2 usb headsets Yes - it is only HDD/SSD's that are counted towards the license limits. Quote Link to comment
djlild7hina
I was debating if i should go with unraid and linus definitely steered me to it. Just setup my unraid nas (going to swap out my 3770k for a 3770 so I can do some virtualization) and i'll be good to go! Excited Quote Link to comment
JMA
Hi, I'm new here. So I'm sorry if my question is for beginners. I think it looks awsome with a gaming PC that can be divided into two gaming machines. If I use identical graphics cards and SSDs, is it then possible to run SLI and raid on SSDs when the PC is not shared? (without having to reinstall the unRAID?) My system: CPU:I7 4790k Mobo: Asus z97 VI Hero RAM: 16 GB 1866MHz DDR3 (2x8) GPU: 2x MSI GTX 970 4G (SLI) SSD: 2 x Samsung EVO 250GB HDD: 1x 7200 RPM 1 TB Do I need anything else to get this setup running two Virtual machines? Regards JMA Quote Link to comment
jbartlett
7 Gaming VMs, one rig with UNRAID Quote Link to comment
