Monitor won't connect in Windows 10 or OpenELEC

I get a big warning:  Execution error

I can see it in VNC OK, maybe something in the XML file?

Same problem with OpenELEC

How do I go about correcting this?

As always, any help is appreciated ~ Dave

Chances are your GPU is in a group with other devices. You can check this under the Tools -> System Devices tab under IOMMU groups and locate the device id that correlates with your GPU (in your case, 1:00.0).  See if there are any other devices in the same group with it.

You can try reseating the GPU to an alternate PCI slot to see if that fixes your issue or you can try the PCIe ACS Override under Settings -> VM Manager (enable it then reboot your system and the VM should start).

Thanks, Jon!

I did the over-ride and that works with VGA but the HDMI can't adjust the resolution, ok, we'll play with that some other day.

The other settings are:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK208 [GeForce GT 720] (rev a1)

01:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GK208 HDMI/DP Audio Controller (rev a1)

of course they're both on the same card.

Thanks again, Dave

Hmm, that's odd.  The resolution in Windows won't adjust you're saying?

Thanks, Jon!

Did you install the Nvidia drivers?

Windows 10 searched the drivers and installed the Nvidia drivers without any help from me.  HDMI works great now, what will they think of next!
