A Question on shares / disks

Hi guys,

 

Whilst waiting for my preclears to finish on 8tb drives! 1 day and counting.... I have begun to consider how to set my shares up.

 

I just wondered what most people did - is there any real benefit in separating out say Movies and day to day documents or music onto different drives (I will be using a pair of SSDs as a cache to speed up writing).  Or Indeed splitting out Kids movies and adult movies to potential aid watching multiple movies at the same time.

 

Would be really interested to hear what everyone has done and why - and which method you picked to decide which drive to write data onto.
