October 21, 201510 yr I just plugged in an SSD for the cache and the web interface froze - it recognized the drive but then I clicked else where - to check on preclean and it has hung - it is not even timing out it is just spinning and hanging. I can still use the console - could anyone tell me how to restart the web interface? Thanks Stuart PS cant restart 1 day into preclear on 3 8tb drives! - Failing being able to restart how can I monitor preclear progress - short of watching in the reports directory? Thanks :-)
October 21, 201510 yr Author finally it is giving me 404 File not found any one got any idea s- cant reboot till preclears done on this 8tb drives which are just over a day in!
October 21, 201510 yr Author and clicked on a different page and it is now going round and round and round - very slow and unresponsive....
October 21, 201510 yr Author so worked out it is - if I assign that SSD as my cache drive. Unassign it and everything AOK. I am guessing I need a reboot - will leave it unassigned until I reboot.
October 21, 201510 yr Community Expert Hot plugging may or may not work reliably with unRAID depending on your hardware. I don't think it is officially supported, but I use it frequently with eSATA drives without issue.
October 21, 201510 yr Author It seems to work well with the backplane - but the SSd drives I have off the motherboard connectors - I think you might be onto something!
