array corruptions and XFS_repair

Featured Replies

Hi

i previously had a corruption on my array which i fixed with XFS_repair -L /dev/md1

although worked for a bit it happened again. and can't get my array to start without a corruption error :

Corruption of in-memory data detected.  Shutting down filesystem

Oct 22 08:02:35 Encom kernel: XFS (md1): Please umount the filesystem and rectify the problem(s)

Oct 22 08:02:35 Encom kernel: XFS (md1): Failed to recover EFIs

is there something i am doing wrong. I want to permanently fix the problem. I have attached my log.

While you wait on others to diagnose, run a memtest for 12 hrs min. You can do this from the initial unRaid boot screen.

What power supply are you running?

Memory errors and marginal power supplies have caused problems like yours before.

it is Corsair CX430 Builder Series 430 Watt ATX PS/2 Power Supply Unit CP-9020046-UK unit

I will do another memory test, i did one before but not for 12 hour. I will try that now.

thanks

This (HGST_HDS724040ALE640_PK1301PAHPSVSS-20151022-1300.txt) drive has a Failing_now on Relocated sectors.  Don't know if that is the md1 disk or not but you need to replace that drive very soon.
