[Support] Linuxserver.io - TeamSpeak 3

Recommended Posts

Hmmm...give this a try:

Instead of changing the repository path on the existing docker, remove the existing docker.  Then click 'Add Container', choose the teamspeak3 template and change the repository path there before you click 'Apply'.  That should definitely force it to install the correct version...I think  ;)

I already tried that, I even changed it in the XML template in dockerMan folder on the flash drive.

Blew away the user template, removed the container and image and started from scratch several times.

Strange.  I updated my last post with a question about your unRAID version.  I'm using 6.2 and it looks like you're using either 6.0 or 6.1, so maybe it's an issue with one of those versions.

Wow when I updated to 6.2.1, all my containers that previously reported "up-to-date" all of a sudden said "update ready".

Having said that it's still not working.

Getting...

ls: write error: Broken pipe

And still getting binding failed

Any ideas? :)

Pulling image: linuxserver/gsm-ts3:unraid

TOTAL DATA PULLED: 0 B

Error: Tag unraid not found in repository docker.io/linuxserver/gsm-ts3

It's not needed anymore, so you can remove the :unraid tag.

I figured it out in the end, checked the docker hub page and saw there was no longer an :unraid tag in the builds ;)

Nice one, thanks! :)

I'm not entirely certain what the problem is here.

Hmmm, was working a week or so ago, iirc they'd changed something upstream and that had affected the container, we'll look into it again.  ;)

Just done a fresh pull and seems to be working for me.

Still get the tail: message but not the sort: write failed: 'standard output': Broken pipe message....

Is this a fresh pull Sham?

Hi,

would it be possible to change the container icon to a png-file with transparent background maybe?

I'm using the black webUI layout and the white background of the current icon doesn't look that nice. ;)
I already tried replacing the icon and icon path myself but with each container update I always get the old icon back.

I recently ran the new permission tool after having some permissions issues on a file share and accidentally selected all disks. Now my Teamspeak docker isn't working and the logs show permission denied errors. What permissions do I need to set to fix this?

Hi, thank you for creating and maintaining this docker. I just realized that the server version is still 3.0.13.6, even though 3.0.13.8 was released last summer. Is there any particular reason for this (could not find anything through search)?

The weekly updates do get pushed and the docker says it is up to date.

Thanks for the help!

I tested some options, and thanks to @sparklyballs I found a quick and dirty solution.

- stop the docker

- backup teamspeak appdata

- extract the newest server tar

- copy files to the appdata folder of teamspeak, replacing duplicates

- start docker

I will see what it does when the new container is being pushed tomorrow.

This works for now. A more elegant solution would be much appreciated, however. :)

I've got a problem with my container, it worked a few days ago but now i noticed that the server wasn't running, and i checked the log:

s6-applyuidgid: fatal: unable to exec /config/ts3server: Permission denied
tail: cannot open '1518424451.9954008830 /config/serverfiles/logs/ts3server_2018-01-29__10_46_51.930549_0.log'$'\n''1518424451.9954008830 /config/serverfiles/logs/ts3server_2018-01-29__10_46_51.930549_1.log' for reading: No such file or directory

What can be done to correct this error, not that awesome at this docker thingy yet, but if someone have a clue i don't mind receiving it :D

have you run the newperms script at any time recently ?

but to fix from the unraid terminal

cd to your appdata folder for this container and run

chmod +x ts3server

Just did as you described only to find a new problem in the log.....

i tryed to fix it with the command:

But i still got the error. Now i "fixxed" it with the command:
