PhAzE
Hi Snoopy! Thanks for your work. I'm getting my LMS container logs full of: avahi-daemon 0.6.31 exiting. Found user 'avahi' (UID 104) and group 'avahi' (GID 107). Successfully dropped root privileges. avahi-daemon 0.6.31 starting up. dbus_bus_get_private(): Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. WARNING: Failed to contact D-Bus daemon. Is there a way to fix it? Hi Snoopy, im getting this error too. My docker is set to host network. Running the latest version of unraid. Any suggestions? wayner
I am having a problem with Ubuntu-XRDP. I swear that it worked a few days ago when I installed it. But now I can't connect with RDP. wayner
Anyone? My port settings are: 3389,6080,5911. My paths are /mnt/user/appdata/ubuntu/.config and /mnt/user/appdata/ubuntu/unraid Quote Link to comment
ubergeek
Hi @snoopy86 , I appreciate your LMS and emoncms containers. I have been trying to set up remote logging (as seen in links below) but there is no "emonhub" tab for the config to do so in your emoncms docker. The tab is usually under the Setup tab but is not there. Do you have any suggestions for exposing or editing the config? https://guide.openenergymonitor.org/setup/remote/ https://community.openenergymonitor.org/t/emoncms-running-on-own-server/1648 Edited May 17, 2017 by ubergeek Quote Link to comment

jademonkee
Has anyone here had luck getting the YouTube plugin to work on Logitech Media Server? I have successfully authorised it to my YouTube account, but I just can't get it to find any videos let alone play them. I note on the plugin page that it states: "Note that SSL is required, but on some Linux installation, a few libraries are missing. If the plugin does not work, open a command line and run: "sudo apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl libnet-ssleay-perl"" Could this be the problem? If so, is it possible for you, Snoopy86, to include those dependencies in the next update (or is it possible for me to add them myself?)? Many thanks. Quote Link to comment

jang430
Hi. Can I use Microsoft Remote Desktop to connect to this container? When I did, I get a login screen, that doesn't display anything. There is a drop down selection, to which I cannot read what's written on it since it's blank. So I cannot proceed. Quote Link to comment

I guess you mean to ubuntu right. No, you have to use VNC, XRDP or similar because Microsoft RDP is not supported for linux OS. Quote Link to comment

JasonGehring
Hey @snoopy86, first of all thank you for all the work you put into these dockers! I have been looking into the Flickr Uploader, however I cant get it to work :/ I do have a Flickr Pro account and followed all the steps, however the validation URL does not seem to work. I only get to a page that tells me that I do not have permission to access. Are there any things I need to customize except for the folder paths during setup and the Api key / secret in the uploader.ini ? Is this app still working? I do not know a lot about the Flickr api but I took a look into it and found this : https://www.flickr.com/services/api/flickr.auth.checkToken.html Is the app still using the old authentication method ? would explain the Issue, or maybe I am just to stupid to set it up 😅 Anyway, excuse my bad English and greetings from Germany, Jason. snoopy86
Hi, sounds like you have set access security to some IP that is not the same as you use from your client. Check server.pref for allowedHosts. Quote Link to comment

Thanks for your work on this docker Snoopy86 - I use it daily and did even contribute via paypal once! However, since the 8.0 update (I think - the timing seems to be right) I get errors when I try to send airplay from my phone to one of the players (using shairtunes2 plugin). The player gets all the metadata and tries to play the stream, but can't seem to connect back to the server. Have you seen this? I checked and the shairport is listening on the port that the player is trying to connect (I was surprised to see it uses a random port which isn't explicitly mapped in docker, but it seems to - and I can manually connect and retrieve the stream from a remote command line (using http). Any ideas? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
snoopy86
Hi, are you using container in bridge or host mode? Quote Link to comment
