Featured Replies

Hello,

at first i would like to say: im a total beginner at virtualization and unraid.

so i after following the guide to set up the unraid os and the VM. so far so good. the windows 10 is running and it works, but i try to passthrough a usb DVB-S2 Card. I want to run a DVB-Viewer Server on the windows system. So i checked the passthrough for the usb, but nothing appeared in the Windows system. so i looke into the log and it said:

2015-10-24T15:50:44.014980Z Warning: speed mismatch trying to attach usb device "S960" (high speed) to bus "usb.0", port "2.1" (full speed)

I have exactly the same problem with my windows 7 VM.

I get the same Warning in the Log file:

2015-12-02T18:19:42.153308Z Warning: speed mismatch trying to attach usb device "S960" (high speed) to bus "usb.0", port "2.1" (full speed)

I did not try to passthrough the usb controller yet, just the device.

Any help would be nice

Can you both try this method and report back:  http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41922.0

John

the error is gone but the usb DVB-S2 Card is still a unknown device in windows 7 and i can not install the drivers.

Any probs like this i really would passthough the usb controller. I pass through my usb 3 controller on my windows vms. Its far better as you get hotswap on the usb aswell. Guide is here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=36768.0

I tried this as well but it seams that my MB has only 1 usb device - same problem here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=42674.msg410956#msg410956

any other ideas?

Hi.

I had the same problem and editing the XML file in this manner resolved it for me. Keep in mind that the post linked says that this only works for Windows 8 and above (no Win7)

Ta,

JakeHazard

by any chance is the USB port USB3?
