Docker Goes Offline During Parity Check

Featured Replies

I'm not sure how long it went down. I ended up stopping the monthly parity check (it was at 70% done) and stop array/rebooting the server which brought everything back online. Not sure what happened or what I need to do. Though I better check with the experts before I do anything else.

Earlier today I had Plex open and working. While it was down the docker page would not allow any changes (stop/start/edit, etc). Plex admin page would not come up at all. Shares were still visible and accessible via SMB. Looking at the short log there was something about the cache disk not restarting. I have attached the diagnostics from after the reboot as well as the Log from before the reboot.

won't let me attach both in one message

For future reference, the diagnostics zip includes your syslog so it is not necessary to post the syslog also.

Maybe try a memtest?

The syslog in the zip was only from the point AFTER I rebooted. That's why I fished out the one from BEFORE. The older one has a rash of errors regarding the cache drive where the dockers are located.

no ideas? Seems to be okay today. I have not restarted the parity check.

I am calling this solved. I changed the SATA cable and have not had the cache SSD drop out since.
