Not getting it to update with a restart and not showing any updates with the check for updates clicked. However I just did a force update and it looks like i am now on Version 4.8.15. Just not sure why I had to use a force update. Link to comment
Dephcon
I'm gonna have to try and syphon some money out of savings to get a UAP now I had some for a couple of weeks for testing prior to installing at my in-laws, what a neat platform. Might also have to start saving for their new 16port POE switch too lol. Link to comment

So you get the hardware for free? I can see your point with using old hardware, but I sadly don't have anything I can use. If I am going to buy new hardware, I want to be able to rack mount it, and the price is pretty high compared to Edgerouter Lite Link to comment

JaY_III
Sorry if I missed it (on phone) but can you include the messages when you install the container from the browser? If you have any conflicting ports the container will fail to start. Its a simple fix. Just change the mapped ports to ones that are free on the host machine Sent from my Oneplus One Link to comment

JaY_III
Looks like it should be up and running (takes a min or two before you cab access the web GUI. I was afraid you changed your ports backwards (Container port / Host port), but you remapped it just fine. This is a super simple container to get running. Just specify a location for the volume mapping and change any conflicting ports if required. You have done that all just fine. Sorry i don't have much more for you, as this was a trouble free one for me. Maybe the generic completely delete the image and reinstall? let us know how you make out Link to comment

I will totally delete and re-add the docker like you suggest and report back Link to comment
MulletBoy
Aaaand no dice Delete the docker image and container, deleted the unifi appdata folder and config, reinstalled from scratch exact same result. docker webgui loads page cannot be displayed log files full of the same errors as above... here 3 screenshots of my setup... does this help? can anyone see anything wrong with my setup? JaY_III
sorry but i am stumped, based on what you posted, it should work this is what is working for me if that helps Link to comment
MulletBoy
So I kinda threw in the towel here... I installed the Unifi docker from pducharme's repository, same settings as i had before (remap all ports to 7xxx) from the originals and same appdata config location It "just worked"... straight away, no errors in the logs, web gui came straight up from the url given by the app icon... I would still be keen to get Linuxserver.io's docker working, because i am currently using 8 of their other dockers perfectly and now this is the only docker i use that itsn't one of theirs... But for now I am up and running and managing my Unifi AP's no problems Link to comment
mgworek
Is there a way to use the lasted 5.x betas with your docker or do we have to wait till its in GA next month? Link to comment
PsyVision
I've created a container for the UniFi beta but it isn't in a repo that you can get in unRAID so takes a bit of manual work to get up and running. If you know what you're doing then you can grab it from: https://hub.docker.com/r/psyvision/docker-unifi/ I will try and keep it up to date but wont support it at all, especially not here as this is LS.io's spot. If they add the beta to their repo then I will remove it altogether as I like their shiz, I will also drop it when it hits RTM. Link to comment
lonix
As a general rule we don't do beta's in our containers. Sorry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment
ErnDiggity
I had no issues changing the port mapping, since the 8000 block is so freakin' crowded on my unraid box I just changed all the mappings to start with 7xxx and it worked just fine. The https weblink on the docker control flyout had 7443, and everything "just works" with the inform port at 7080. Just wanted to chime in and confirm that remapping all the Unifi docker ports to 7xxx worked great. Was having some problems starting up the WebGui but had 2 observations: 1) This docker takes approximately 3-4 mins to start up 2) That Sabnzbd takes up the 8080 and that Plex or some of the other common dockers take up some ports that are not listed in their configs. When I had set this to host, everything worked fine so I changed it back to bridge only to have it unable to connect again. But once I remapped all the server side ports to 7xxx, it came back up great. Also did a few reboots, stop&starts to confirm that it would be okay going forward. Link to comment

mgworek
Asking again if you could update the the latest official reason 5.0.6 when can please. It is no longer in beta. The other docker has already been updated but there are a bunch of us that are unable to run it. we get stuck at an error message. Someone people have found a work around but doesn't work with everyone. Hopefully when you update your docker it solves the problem. Thanks! Link to comment

We are currently testing the best way to update this. Normally these updates are done on the same repo, so our auto-update feature takes care of it. We want to make sure nothing breaks first. I'll keep you updated. Link to comment
