November 4, 201510 yr Community Expert Which file system should I use for the cache drive? Can or should I just use XFS for all disks except parity? the current recommendation would be to use XFS (for stability) if you do not want a cache pool. If you want a cache pool then you have to use BTRFS to get this capability. For data disks XFS seems to be the preference. The parity disk has no file system so no decision needed there.
