Disk share compute size doesn't include directories with spaces in them.

Featured Replies

unRAID OS Version: 6.1.3

Description: I have a user share that has a space in the name.  when I click on compute in the web gui it doens't include the directory that has a space in the name.

How to reproduce: Have a space in the usershare name and click compute on the disk share.

Expected results: Expect to see all shares included

Actual results: Share with space isn't included.

Other information:

Now I really have not investigated this thoroughly..  But my guess it has to do with the space in the name.

Disk 1 has a "New software" directory

But it doesn't show up on the drive summary.

Now change "New software" to New_Software

Still has a directory on disk1

Hey it's there now!

Just a minor nit.  I usually don't have spaces in my directory name..  but I did for this one..

You are right, shares with spaces in their name aren't included.

Have made a correction for that!

cool!  My guess is it took you less time to make the fix then it did for me to post it with all the pic! lol

Most likely, it was just a minor adjustment and put some quotes (") in the necessary places...  :)

I know I'm supposed to probably put this in a different thread under feature request....

but since I have your attention..

but how much trouble would be be to put in a "compute all"  instead of having to click on each compute?

If it seems feasible I'll add it to the feature request thread/page

If you put it on the feature request page, it will better keep my attention. I do read that page often, otherwise it might get "lost" after a while.
