thaddeussmith
with the old beets docker I could run docker exec -i -t Beets beet import /downloads and be able to interact with the prompts. that is not the case with this docker. Please advise. Quote Link to comment

death.hilarious
got it, thanks! edit: nope, still not able to enter feedback at the prompt, for example: Mine does the same, I gave up and went back to using Bliss. I'm in the same boat as the two of you. After getting into the container and running beets, the program doesn't respond to any keyboard commands so I end up stuck at the first prompt. I thought it might be a putty issue, but I'm having the same problem from a linux terminal. Quote Link to comment

thaddeussmith
Installed the new update, still broken. Quote Link to comment
wizard84
same situation in my side. i've also tried to uninstall the prevision version deleteting the container and the image, remove the docker datas and try to start a clean install. same problems Quote Link to comment
kamhighway
I am in the same boat as death.hilarious, thaddeussmith, and wizard84. I can install it, get it running, and start a bash session. However, if I enter a beet command that requires a response, beet ignores keyboard presses so I can't respond. Quote Link to comment
nurglefish
I'm having the same problem as others. I can respond to the y/n prompts, but none of the more complicated prompts will respond to any input. Quote Link to comment
CHBMB
The issue is being worked on, and we can reproduce it, but no fix at the moment.... Sorry, should have updated this thread sooner. Quote Link to comment
thaddeussmith
No worries, just glad to see I'm not an isolated and unreproducible case. Quote Link to comment
ProtoJazz
Looking forward to seeing this up and running Quote Link to comment

CHBMB
It's still being worked on.... Quote Link to comment
Symbiot78
I got mine working. Deleted the container and reconfigured it.. this time I mapped config as well.. I didn't specify a folder last time.. just let docker create one for me.. this time I made a beets folder and mapped the config folder to that folder.. and I now have keyboard ack. can't see why it should matter but it's working.. so go figure.. thaddeussmith
been doing that from the start here. Quote Link to comment
ProtoJazz
New update works great for me. Quote Link to comment
thaddeussmith
likewise, for new albums that were enough of a positive match to not require input. I'll need to get an album I already have imported and see if user input is recognized when the album conflict surfaces. Quote Link to comment
smakovits
is there any way to get the discogs plugin added to the container? every time things update you need to install it again. not hard, but I see it as an essential plugin for times musicbrainz doesnt have the goods album in the DB Quote Link to comment
lovswr
with the old beets docker I could run docker exec -i -t Beets beet import /downloads and be able to interact with the prompts. that is not the case with this docker. Please advise. You need to get to bash first: docker exec -i -t Beets bash then run beet import /downloads Where would one enter these commands? On the BEETS server /port page or somewhere else on the docker itself? Quote Link to comment
