Asus P5E-VM D0 Testing

Featured Replies

My first unRaid system. Board is home to 6 drives. I started with 2 drives and have added over time. Outside of a usb drive failure I've had zero issues. Parity has be verified a few times. I noticed the board was missing testing levels.

Please advise of any issues. To me it all look fine but what do I know :)

  MB: Asus P5E-VM D0

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400

RAM: 4GB (1x1GB) Kingston Value Ram

  Case: Antec NSK2400

  PSU: Antec 380W Earthmax

  HD: 4x 1TB WD1001FALS

        1TB ST31000528AS

        1TB SAMSUNG_HD103UJ

Edit: added build details

Looks good!  And fast, with an average parity check speed of "77644K/sec"!

Thanks..I was hoping someone would confirm. In a month or so I'll post the syslog again for level 2 validation.

The relevant stuff has been added to the Hardware Compatibility Page motherboard section with a link back here to show level one.  When level two is completed I will update the wiki again.

Thanks

I've been waiting to shut down my server and believe me it was tough :)

I got my Pro license from Tom and was itching to upgrade. Next is trying to squeeze another drive into my small desktop case.
