November 13, 201510 yr hi need a bit of help here..... i was on unraid 6.0.x array of 10 drive 9 data and 1 parity.... i started to have some streaming issue video freeze or lock while streaming. First thing that came to my head was my network, so i check my entire network all is well i can copy from my unraid at 120mb/s and copy on it at 50mb/s with no problem what so ever but when i stream it keep freezing or lock totally. it does that on all my devise.... window 7 media player classid, openelec on 3 computer and openelec on a rpi and a rpi2... wired or wireless still the same... i try to connect directly my laptop on my unraid with a cable no switch or router still the same.... so i rebuild my unraid in another computer still freeze and lock.... so i said ok lets try to update to the latest version 6.1.3 still same thing. So i restarted my unraid from zero with brand new configuration just replace all the disk at the same place in the array... still freeze and lock with a new installation.... so i reformat my usb key with the option quick format unchecked took a while to format the key (8 gb Kingston traveller) and did another clean installation.... after that the freeze and lock stop for around 24h and they restarted again.... anyone have any idea what might be the problem and have any idea how to fix it ? thank you
November 13, 201510 yr First of all, welcome... Second, nobody will really be able to tell you what's going on without some more info. Might be an idea to post your machine specs and then attach diagnostics to the post with TOOLS ==> DIAGNOSTICS ==> DOWNLOAD Preferably from a period after the issue has occurred. My money is on a network issue, router/modem/faulty cable, I don't think it'll be Unraid at fault, only exception would be a NIC that is not 100% compatible, but seeing as you've replaced all the hardware even that seems less likely.

What is the difference between "freezing" and "lock totally"? When you say you can copy to and from, how long did you do the copies? How much data? How long when you start streaming does the freeze or lock occur? Does it always have the problem at the same point / with the same file? You can obtain these from the Tools -> Diagnostics page in the webGui and clicking the download button. Attach that in a reply here on the forum so we can take a look. We need the diagnostics after you have experienced an issue, but before you reboot the system.
November 13, 201510 yr Author when i say freeze i mean it stop for 1 or 2 minute i continue.... when i say lock i mean it just stop and never restart when i copy i did try many 7-8 gb file to copy from the unraid and i did copy around 90gb on it and the problem append with all the file i try video of 100mg and some of 13gb and when i pay the same video twice it dosent always freeze at the same place... and i try file from all my data drive i did download the file last night so here it is and thx for the quick respond.... tower-diagnostics-20151111-1246.zip
