Advice Needed: Amd A6 3500 and unraid

Featured Replies

Hello group,

New to the area of unRAID but actively looking for the options around it since I will need to build my system.

So far I have a system based on AMD A6 3500 in order to playback my media using KODI and amongst others, do some browsing, downloading, Youtube. The system runs Windows 10 and is directly connected via HDMI to my TV.

I was thinking to transform this system to an unRAID system for my storage needs. The extra mile that I am looking for is to run one VMWare on top that will allow me to continue using KODI for my playback, handle my torrent downloads and browsing needs.

Do you think that the AMD A6 3500 will be capable of all these? I plan to increase the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB (or maybe 16).

Motherboard used is the Asrock A75M-ITX

Thanks
