slow windows VMs after upgrading to 6.1.4

Featured Replies

hi,

Cant remember what i had previously, but it was a 6.1.x version.  But after i upgraded to 6.1.4 i noticed my windows VMs are dragging now, usually this is when there is some amount of disk io.  When an application is loaded into memory, it seems to be working fine.  But launching new apps is sluggish.

My cache drive is a SSD drive, and performance was much better before the upgrade.

I should also mention that my VMs are from a real long time ago, still when you had to create your own XML files, so i might be missing some optimizations, but i really don't know what they are.

Any thing that recently changed with respect to VMs / Cache drives that would affect the performance so much?

Haven't played with the linux VMs to see if they are experiencing the same slowness.
