Back-UPS UPS not reporting load

Featured Replies

I just picked up a Back-Ups 550 UPS, and got most of the stats automatically it needs, except for the LoadPCT.

Has anyone else run into this issue with the UPS app in 6.1.4?

exact same situation and UPS  on dashboard i get

battery charge 100%

runtime left 74 minutes (seems too high)

nominal power  -

UPS Load %    9.0 percent

Mine does this too. I think it's because this is a lower end UPS.

550 x 0.09 = 49.5w

Easy enough to calculate no?

Except that the 550 is not the wattage rating.

It's the Volt-Amps rating.

That particular UPS is only rated to 330 watts.

330 * .09 = 29.7 watts.
