November 28, 201510 yr Hi. My motherboard, the Asrock z170 pro4, only has 1 usb root hub. I have a 4 port usb 3.0 pcie card that the unraid usb, keyboard and ups usb cable are all successfully working from. My motherboard only has 1 onboard usb hub in system devices. My question is, is it safe to pass the entire onboard usb system to a VM?

See the sticky thread above about passing through an entire USB controller. John
