Array operation stopped: Invalid Configuration

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to unRAID and have just installed V6 with the aim of trialing it.

For now, I am trying to set up the Array configuration as follows:

One disk assigned to Parity

One disk assigned to Data

One disk assigned to Cache

So I have three disk in total with one disk being assigned to data, as per the minimum requirements I believe.

When I go to start the Array the "Start" button is greyed out saying that there are too many attached devices - please consider upgrading your reg. key - screenshot attached

I have registered my trial and installed the TrialKey with the URL that was provided during registration and I can see my triel key expiry data - screenshot attached.

So I'm not sure if this is a TrialKey issue, a disk issue, a configuration issue, perhaps a BIOS issue (although I've checked and the BIOS for my HP N40L has AHCI enabled as per the setup video on the lime-tech website)

I would imagine this should be pretty straight forward so is there perhaps something that I'm missing here ?

Thanks,

DaveN

The "Attached Devices" limit applies to disks attached to the system running unRAID  - not just to those assigned to be used by unRAID.  Does the system have other drives plugged in that you have not assigned to unRAID?  If not, then attaching a diagnostics zip file (obtained via Tools->Diagnostics) might allow us to see what is causing the issue.

Yes, it does have all drive bays occupied - I will detach those not intended for use in the trial and then try again and let you know. If still an issue then I will attach the diagnostics zip file in my next reply

Thanks!
