Maodun Kross
All, New user here. Great looking software and I look forward to putting this to use. My question is this; for version 6 of the software it lists a different number of devices supported. What exactly is meant by devices? Is this the number of hard drives supported or does it mean something all together different. Thanks for any help. [changed the subject...bad spelling ] Link to comment

garycase
Just to be clear, as noted above devices = disks attached ... but note that "attached" doesn't mean they're necessarily part of the array. For example, if you have a Basic license and assign 4 disks to your array, but have 7 disks physically in the server, then UnRAID will NOT start, as the 7 disks it finds exceed the 6-disk limitation of that license. That's true for both Basic and Plus [6 devices and 12 devices respectively] ... but the Pro license does not have any limits on how many devices can be in the server ... only on how many can be assigned to the array.
