Upgrade free v4.5b6 to Pro or Plus version...

Featured Replies

I have a SANDISK USB running now, so plan to use it.

I've just read the upgrade instructions in the 4.3 thread.

It sounds to me like all I need to do to upgrade to a licensed version is:

  • Purchase the license  :)
  • Copy the pro.key file (or whatever it's called for the Plus version) to the config directory
  • Reboot system

Just checking in for validation.

Thanks

You can name it almost anything you like as long as it has a .key extension.  But that's it.

If you have the 4.5-beta6 version you can copy the .key file either to the root of the flash drive OR the config folder. It looks in both places for it.

Thanks. I'll be ordering soon.

BTW...great site, with quick response and help...as well as great product.

The community here is one of the best I have ever been a part of.  The unRAID wiki has a vast wealth of knowledge that could keep a lot of people reading for a long time.
