December 10, 201510 yr I was switching from the needo docker to the LinuxServer.io docker for Plex. I pointed all the mount points to where my old docker was. When I turned the old docker off and the new one on I have all of my Media and on deck information correct but it is a new server listed with a new friendly name. I want to keep all of my existing information for user shares and such. Anything I can do?
December 11, 201510 yr It shouldn't change a thing about your server. As long as the new container has the same config path. One of the troubles I had was that one container I started with expected me to point the /config mapping to config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server and the other (Linux IO) just expected the root of the config structure. Double check your volume mappings and reload.
