Can't access web interface

Featured Replies

So i tried restarting the web interface:

killall emhttp
nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &

But to no avail.

You can't restart emhttp in V6 like it was possible in V5.

And the problem is too generic to conclude that your issue is the same.  Far better to start a new thread and post some diagnostics.

So mine hung up again.

Only thing that changed is I had used Makemkv to rip something.

Later I tried to watch a movie and everything was hung up. Though diagnostics did run -

  • 2 weeks later...

I just upgraded smoothly from 5.0.4 to 6.1.8

Love the new UI!!

However, 2 hours after upgrade, I could access the UI.

I came here and found a post about running umount on the drives and then shutdown -r

I did that and the UI came back.

Today,..I checked the UI and it's not available.

I tried the umount and shutdown but that's not working today.

All through this, my shares are accessible, I can ssh and telnet in, my memory looks good, top looks fine, and syslog shows not much of anything.

I don't have docker running since I didn't have time to check out the new features.

I saw another post where someone converted the drives to XFS.

My only issue is that I can't access the user interface.

Sorry, I'm having issues with getting the diagnostics off right now. and I need to run out.
