Intel RES2SV240 Question (LED/lights?)

Are there or should there be any LED's/Lights on the RES2SV240 itself, when connected?

 

I purchased a new one off a member here on the forum and cannot get it to recognize any of my drives when connected through an IT FLASHED (or non flashed for that matter) IBM M1015.

 

When powered up/connected to my Supermicro motherboard, there are no lights/LEDs that I can see...and again, no drives show up.

 

The RES2SV240 is warm/hot to the touch...but I cannot see anything attached to it.  Also, nothing shows up in BIOS or during boot indicating the card is connected to the system.  I have tried powering it via PCI connection and also via Molex/4-pin power cable (directly to Power Supply) also = same results (nothing).

 

Thanks for any help...
