Just wanted to get some opinions on what is the best ft[/cloud option to transfer files to and from unraid over the internet ?

Ryan what sort of files, sizes and quantities are you thinking?  What method I'd use would be very dependent on those factors....

They would be things such as photos, documents maybe isos such as linuxs distros but i could see my maximum size going over 5GB

TBH there's so many different ways of doing it, you may be better with a variety of solutions.

 

I use Owncloud for documents and stuff like that.

 

For photos there are a few docker containers that would fit the bill

 

If it was just pure file uploading then I'd probably go with FTP....  (I've never managed to get the built in Unraid FTP working but there's a good plugin available)
