Gog
Hi A suggestion: modify the boot order from the GUI. It's not a big deal but I'm inexperienced with KVM and I had to dig for that one. Thanks Quote Link to comment
thany
Yes, it's in the GUI now... Only it doesn't work. Once you select cd, the page refreshes and it's back on hd again. Brilliant. Please fix this, Lime. Quote Link to comment
RobJ
Why not create a Defect Report about it, where they will see it. Quote Link to comment
thany
Why move this topic there? Quote Link to comment
RobJ
Why move this topic there? I'm sorry, I don't understand the question. (I may be too sleepy at the moment!) Quote Link to comment
billington.mark
Using SeaBIOS,you can change it in the XML by using <boot order='1'/> <boot order='2'/> etc. If you're using OVMF, you can change it at boot time like you would on an actual PC BIOS. I cant remember if its 'del' 'esc or 'F2', but one of them will invoke the boot menu and there's an option to change the boot order. Quote Link to comment
thany
Hacking in the XML should not be neccesary for such a mundane setting. Quote Link to comment
