gaikokujinkyofusho
Hi, I have been trying to figure out how to permanently set the IP address on my unRAID box but have so far been unsuccessful. I can do it manually by typing: ifconfig eth0 192.168.x.x since unraid is based on slackware(?) i thought maybe editing the /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf but it doesn't seem to exist? Any advice on how to properly do this would be appreciated! Link to comment

CHBMB
I do it via my router, so it always gets the same IP allocated via DHCP address reservation. Link to comment
gaikokujinkyofusho
Do it via the web gui. Doh... I looked before but couldn't find it so thought that it might be something that had to be done via terminal. I looked again, seems like its under network settings. Link to comment

Thanks, normally this would be a none issue if I had a router but for this setup I don't have a router and where I am working at the moment bothering with setting up a proper network doesn't make sense.
