News Reader Currator Recommendation

Featured Replies

Hey all!

I am looking for recommendations on a docker container to aggregate RSS feeds. I've seen TT-RSS and a couple of other containers but I'm not sure which (if any) fit my needs/wants.

I like to browse a wide variety of topics and dig in on articles that look interesting. I have an iPhone and up until last month I was happily using the Zite app - it was exactly what I wanted - but it just got bought out and shut down by flipboard - which doesn't do a good job for me.

I've tried using Feedly with a ton of RSS feeds (from my old Google Reader account) but that is just overwhelming and not a balanced mix.

I have a Fever license that I briefly tried (until I got Zite) so that is possibly an option. I'd get to create a container to run it on my server but that will be fun.

With all of that said - are there good options that already exist as docker containers that might do what I'm looking for?  Basically mix together a boat-load of RSS feeds and present an interesting mix to me and let it be consumed on my iPhone.

What do other people use (docker containers, phone apps, etc) to get a good digest of daily articles?
