Scripts run on system shutdown/reboot

Featured Replies

Could some guide me in the right direction. I would like to have some files copies from memory (/var/lib) before the system shutdows/reboot.

I did search the web for answers, but most commands I found didn't work on unRaid. What distro is unRaid so I may better navigate the OS better?

Thx

Slackware.

In fact there ARE discussions on exactly this matter in this forum.

Maybe you should just wait (if you are young enough) for the next unRAID major version (5.x) which supposedly among other nice things will allow for such things much more easily.

If it's important for you to do, spend the time learning the system now (unRaid and general Slackware Linux). There may never be an unRaid 5.x let alone a 4.5beta7 or 4.5 final.
