No "Docker Containers" Section after Enabling Docker for 1st Time

Featured Replies

I just finished my preclear cycles and am trying to get Dockers started.

I followed these directions (http://lime-technology.com/docker-guide/) except I made one mistake and enabled the Docker without having the share "appdata." I have since deleted the docker.img, created the share "appdata" on my cache drive, and have re-enabled Docker and saved the image to my cache.

The directions say the Docker service "may take some time" and that a "Docker Containers" section will appear so I can add template repositories.

The "Docker Containers" section never appeared, screenshot below shows what I see. Do I have to wait longer or is something wrong? Thanks for any assisstance!

What happens if you click the docker tab on the menu bar?  ;)

Oh, and install this to make life a whole lot easier...  :)

You are awesome sir, thank you!

You also might want to increase the size of your docker.img file (stop the service, then just increase it and restart the service - no apps already installed will be affected)

The 10G default from LT is just a tad on the conservative side.  Realistically, a size of 20G will be more suitable.

Thanks for the tip, I have a 500GB SSD, should I just go big and do something like 50GB?

50GB is probably a bit overkill.  I've got 30GB and that's plenty, and i install a lot of containers... (testing/curiosity)

Storage is cheap...    ;)  I've got terabytes of data that I'm sure that if I looked at it objectively I could say is wasted space
