Cannot create shares.

Featured Replies

Whenever I create a share it says: Share "name" has been deleted.

Thus I am unable to create any.

1. Is is a brand new install?

2. is this your first share?

3. Can you create a share with another name?

4. Can you try in another browser? (maybe even incognito mode, in case it's as browser plugin issue)

1. Yes, besides changing some basic settings

2. Yes

3. No

4. Will try now, update will come after

Update:

It didn't work on chrome(including incog) or firefox. I have tried different names and settings.

I have tried different names and settings.
What names are you trying? Try something like share1 and see if that works.

Attach the diagnostics zip file after a failed attempt, there may be something in the logs that will point to a solution.

I will attach the zip but here's a quick find from the logs.

I will attach the zip but here's a quick find from the logs.

Something went horribly wrong with the diagnostic command, it's supposed to contain a lot more than just a single file.

Could you attach a screenshot showing the Main tab of the webgui?

I found the issue, my drives needed to be formatted through the webUI. I hadn't see this option before but when I went to take a SS I saw it and tried it, I am now able to create shares.

Yes, you must you let unRAID format any drives it will use. Sounds like you probably didn't preclear them either. Search forum and wiki for preclear. See search tips in my sig.
