Norco SS-500 - SMART data

I have an earlier version of the Norco SS-500 (internal fan) and it does not provide drive SMART data.  I like the unit and it has been maintenance for the past 4 years. 

 

Can someone who has the latest generation of the SS-500 (external fan with shroud) tell me if their version supplies SMART data?

 

I am also interested in the current iteration of the SS-300 and whether it passes SMART data.

    Answering my own question...

    • One bad drive
      2nd bad drive
      3rd bad drive
      4th drive works ok
      5th drive works ok

     

    3 out of 5 bad drives

      2 brands - 2 WD, 1 HGST bad

      2 vendors - 1 Newegg, 2 Amazon bad

     

    Bad drives tested direct connect to motherboard and still no SMART data
