January 4, 201610 yr Thank you very much in advance for any support that you are able to give that will help me solve a problem I am having with one of my Unraid shares (SMB-based). I am running UnRaid 5.0.5 and have attached my syslog report. Using my home computer running Windows 10, I regularly access my Movies share using a mapped network drive. This has always worked flawlessly. Though, yesterday I noticed that when I tried to delete a file from the share using the mapped network drive on Windows it would not actually delete the file. At first Windows would confirm the deletion, but when the folder was refreshed the file simply re-appeared. This was definitely weird and annoying. Thinking that the issue was on the Windows side, I restarted my computer. However, whenever I now access the mapped network drive it opens up but does not display any of the files that were previously in the share. If I look at the properties of the mapped network drive/share in Windows, it shows that the share is indeed not empty and correctly details the amount of storage space used. So, I then turned my attention over to the UnRaid server Web GUI. I stopped and restarted the server. Everything started up fine and parity is valid. When I click on Shares, the Movies share is listed there. But, when I click on the folder to browse the share contents in the Web GUI, it shows that the share is empty. Although, if I browse the contents of each of the disks in my Unraid server configuration, there is a Movies folder on each of them with the files that were originally copied to the share. How do I fix this problem with my Movies share? It seems broken. The good thing is that all my files appear to be in tact. Thanks, bhingi ------------------------------------------------- FIX: Ran reiserfsck --rebuild-tree and this fixed the issue
