EXT3-FS UnRaid crash

Featured Replies

HI,

Im testing unraid for a nas/server on my home network.  All has been good and im planning to build new unit to house the beast (yes im calling it the beast) within the next week or so.

Im running 4.42 free on a Atom based motherboard and 3x 1.5 TB drives which are filling up well.

While ripping a dvd to Unraid over the network unraid crashed and wouldn't let me access the shares or get in via the web gui.  I fired up the screen to see the attached photo.

I Alt+Ctrl+Del'd and the computer shutdown with lots of errors and then turned off.

After turning back on its now back and doing a parity check but looks ok, but it would be nice to know whats happened.

Can anyone help? This is the first crash/problem i have had.

Reinstall BubbaRaid... your crash corrupted the portal filesystem.

Do you have any idea why it crashed?

Do you need anymore info to work out why it crashed?

Im guessing you mean copy it back onto the thumbdrive as it was install from the start?

There is no telling why it crashed.  But unless you have added some ext3 file system somewhere, the only one on your system is the bubba_portal.fs file.  You can simply copy over that file on your flash with the original one.
