January 8, 201610 yr I have been running the Nylas N1 email client for a while now and am loving it. https://www.nylas.com/N1/ But, unfortunately, by default, N1 points to the Nylas hosted version of the Nylas Sync Engine. This means that your email sits on the servers at Nylas and is synced to your N1 client. They do say that they take security and privacy seriously, but the Sync Engine is open source and you can run it yourself. This would seem to me to be the perfect application for a Docker container. Here is a link to the Nylas Sync Engine github page: https://github.com/nylas/sync-engine Also, it looks like someone has already started work on a Docker container: https://github.com/nylas/sync-engine-docker/commits?author=grinich
