January 9, 201610 yr I'm trying to have the physical cdrom drive accessible from the VM, I know that's possible in QEMU-KVM as it's working for me in Proxmox-VE. I manually wrote in the XML this: <disk type='block' device='cdrom'> <driver name='qemu' type='raw'/> <source file='/dev/sr0'/> <target dev='hdd' bus='ide'/> <readonly/> <address type='drive' controller='0' bus='1' target='0' unit='0'/> </disk> The problem is that after first boot, the line <source file='/dev/sr0'/> gets deleted, and my VM has a cd drive with no cd inserted There's a workaround?
