January 26, 201610 yr Author I still don't see the need to obscure share names. What are people afraid of? They tend to be called Media, Music, Movies, Backups, etc. Ok, so maybe my collection of Barry Manilow MP3s is mildly embarrassing, but I'll get over it! Are some people storing even more incriminating stuff than that? Perhaps the default should be for Anonymize diagnostics to be unchecked? Let me repeat it for you: There is no "tend to be called Media, Music, Movies, Backups"! Will you vouch for anybody using unRAID? http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45575.msg435196#msg435196 Pretty comprehensive post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45575.msg435308#msg435308 ty, gundamguy I don't care to share personal things with a handful of guys trying to help me. I will hand them over the full logs - via PM, but I definitely don't want them publicly available! Some food for thought.
January 26, 201610 yr I think it will reduce the quality of support that hard-working and unpaid enthusiasts will be able to give, and that's a great shame because it's what this product relies on.

As one of those unpaid enthusiasts who "has nothing to hide" I'm actually in favor of this as long as the "raw" data is an option.
February 1, 201610 yr I 100% agree this should obfuscated to hide personal data. If the decision is taken to not remove personal data then a disclaimer with details on what may be leaked should be put in line with the process so that users can make an informed choice.
