Windows 10 Backup

Featured Replies

I am at a loss as to how to get this to work anymore.

In win7 it was quirky at times, but usually worked. Now, it won't let me configure my backup location. Something about validation and security. I went in to unRAID, created a password protected user and secured the share (giving the new user read/write access). Win 10 still won't let me utilize it.

I was having the issue where unRAID completely disappeared from my network list, but I rolled back to the previous windows 10 build and solved that problem.  Still want to have win 10 backingup my data on a regular basis. I really don't need much. Basically just a system image (for clean installs), my User data/docs/etc, and a few folders on a secondary data drive. Why does that have to be so hard?!?!?  GAh!

Any thoughts on how to go about getting this working?
